I’m So Grateful to Have Found AngelRide!

Paul Newman’s vision of camp has impacted so many kids’ lives & AngelRide brings that same magical vision to kids who can’t make it to camp. I like to think about it like this, I can, so I will, and I do because those kids can’t.
I have always been healthy, relatively speaking. So have my kids, my immediate family members, even most of my closest friends.
When I worked with clients whose lives were touched by serious illness, I felt even more grateful for my blessings. The day I received an AngelRide postcard in the mail, I had been visiting a friend’s 12-year-old daughter who was diagnosed with leukemia. It struck me that disease is so random & no one is immune.
I felt the urge to make my ‘fun’ impact others somehow & so AngelRide was a perfect fit. It’s an incredible challenge, with an amazing community of like-minded people with huge giving hearts. Paul Newman’s vision of camp has impacted so many kids’ lives & AngelRide brings that same magical vision to kids who can’t make it to camp.
I like to think about it like this, I can, so I will, and I do because those kids can’t.
Creating the skirts & shorts from some of the old AngelRide & the Hole In The Wall Gang Camp’s jerseys for the kids is just another fun idea to bring a little colorful camp magic into their day (Read the Hartford Courant Article).
